“Could I be any more spacy?” “I feel totally ungrounded.” “I feel lost or like I am swimming.” “What is this dizziness I’m feeling all about?”
Answer? It’s about the planets Jupiter and Neptune coming into conjunction in Pisces.
On Tuesday (April 12), Jupiter and Neptune will come together in the exact same degree in the sign of Pisces. Pisces, a watery sign represents the domain of our emotions. It amplifies our capacity for compassion, dissolves boundaries between ourselves and others, and nurtures healing through the energy of unconditional love.
In joining together in Pisces, Jupiter (energies of growth, expansion, generosity, optimism, success, and prosperity) and Neptune (energies of imagination, dreams, spirit, compassion, faith, and hope) provide the ideal context (a gestational womb) for personal growth and transformation. Jupiter’s desire to expand is enhanced by Neptune’s limitless imagination and meets no resistance as the waters of Pisces dissolve boundaries and limitations. This experience can be exhilarating and euphoric, and it can also be dizzying and disorienting. We can feel ungrounded and confused. We may have the sense we are swimming in deep waters. We might find ourselves drowning in emotions that flood forth from us as tears.
During this conjunction, our capacity for compassion is magnified. As the illusory boundaries between ourselves and others dissolve, we feel more intensely the suffering of others. Our hearts ache for the victims of war in the Ukraine and in Ethiopia. Their pain is our pain.
At this time, the veils between the dimensions are thinner giving us greater access to spiritual messages and the transcendent meanings of our lives. We may find ourselves awakening to a new sense of purpose, inspired by new ideas. Seemingly magical synchronicities occur in support of our dreams, and we experience renewed faith and hope.
We began to experience the energies of this conjunction in early March as Jupiter drew near to Neptune and we will continue to feel its effects through mid-May as Jupiter gradually moves beyond Neptune. May we use the occasion of this conjunction to personally evolve to a higher expression of ourselves, to radiate unconditional love, and to send prayers for peace into the world.
