We are living in a time when very powerful energies are stirring our world, creating chaos, and shaking our foundations. As we look around us, we can see the effects of these forces. There are powerful volcanic-like energies erupting and disrupting life as we know it, breaking apart old structures, dismantling institutions in every area of life—medicine, government, education, religion, finances—nothing is untouched. This break down of structures creates a place within which the powers of expansion can work. As COVID advanced last spring, the walls of businesses and organizations came down. Education expanded beyond the school building into the homes of every child. The work of many businesses became decentralized moving into the homes of the employees. Churches offered virtual services that reached out to people everywhere.
Expansion is creating opportunity for greater inclusivity. A friend shared with me that her church has far more people attending services virtually than ever attended in person. She loves that when she sings, she is reaching the hearts of ever greater numbers of individuals. The call for greater inclusivity is rising on the tide of revolutionary movements—Black Lives Matter, LGBTQ rights, women’s rights, immigrant and refugee rights…. We are being asked to recognize that all divisions are illusory human constructs. Inclusivity is our natural state. We are all one, intimately connected with one another and with every species and element on the planet. This is a truth. In denying this truth, we are living a lie, a lie that has led to profound suffering and death for countless people.
This is a time of death and rebirth. Our old world and way of life are dying in order that a new way of living be born. Death and rebirth are natural occurrences, necessary for our evolution and continued viability. We need not be passive victims of this process; we have the capacity to co-create what is born. With our thoughts, words, and actions, we can help to shape the world of the future.
Astrology is the perfect tool for understanding and navigating the challenges of this time. While planets do not “cause” things to happen, their locations and relationships to one another provide insight into the amalgamation of powers we are experiencing. As we are one with the cosmic forces of the universe, the forces we see creating change in the world are also active within each of us. Consider your own life: Where have you experienced loss? Where are you being asked to let old structures, beliefs, and behaviors die? Where are you being catalyzed into new ways of living, working, and being in relationship with others? How are you being called upon to honor the truth of our oneness?
Personally, life is shattering foundational aspects of my life, requiring me to do a total make-over, to redefine myself, live differently, and reinvent my work. I am grateful for the guidance astrology is providing with this formidable task.
I am even more grateful for the opportunities I have to use astrology as a tool to help others gain clarity and direction in the changes they are facing. I am working with individuals experiencing personal transformation of their identities, relationships, values, sense of self-worth, role in the world, highest potential, and more. These individuals are opening to new potentials, carving their way to new futures and marshalling their powers to make meaningful contributions to the collective. They are co-creating with the cosmic forces alive within themselves and the world.
What is Life asking of you? What is dying? And what is waiting to be born in you and through you?
Change of this magnitude and complexity can be confusing and overwhelming. If you think that an astrological consultation might be helpful to you or to someone you know, I would be happy to schedule an exploratory consult.
